Aulani’s pools are located between our two towers. There is so many options available, any person of any age will be pleased with the pool experience we offer.
Waikolohe Stream and Waterslides: Waikolohe means ‘mischievous water’ in Hawaiian. From the Disney inspired volcano, you can choose two options, the extreme slide down into the Waikolohe pool or the serene slide down to the Waikolohe stream. Throughout the entire Waikolohe area the water is neither hot or cold, temperate enough to enjoy the whole day under the Hawaiian Sun!!
Waikolohe Pool: This 8200 sq. ft. pool is a water playground for the whole family. It sits at the base of Aulani’s volcano and with a zero-entry point, anyone can come into the pool and enjoy!!
Ka Maka Infinity Grotto: The Ka Maka grotto is one of the most spectacular pools you will see in your life, resembling scenes taken out of Disney films themselves. It opened at the end of last year as part of the resorts recent expansion and it is one of the most popular pools. It has an infinity edge overlooking the beach and the ocean, a misty grotto to just sit at all day, a whirlpool spa and finally spectacular lights, lighting the entire pool at night.
Rainbow Reef: This is the only private reef you will find in Hawaii. Owned by Aulani, it is just of our beach where you will get to snorkel between the most colorful butterflyfish, angelfish, surgeonfish, and tangs. If your lucky you might even see golden treasures resting on the sea bed.
Menehune Bridge: Designed just for kids this is an exciting water playground for kids 48 inches in height or shorter. It offers two water slides, interactive water elements, spinning gourds and a climbing pool structure.
Keiki Cove Splash Zone: This enchanting area is designed for kids 5 and under. It is decorated with sea creatures, rainbow water jets and have hidden ‘magical people’ responsible for all the fun in Hawaii!!
Whirlpool Spas: There are several whirlpool spas located in the several pools at Aulani. They are designed for all kids at heart, over 18 for a relaxing escape. Locations include Waikolohe Pool, Waikolohe Streams, Ka Maka Grotto and two whirlpool spas at ‘Alohi Point (Parents Getaway)
Wailana Pool: Guests ages 18 and up can relax and unwind at a tranquil pool area that's separated from the excitement of the main pool. Wailana is the Hawaiian word for calm or quiet and Wailana Pool certainly lives up to its name. The pool offers 1500 sq. ft. of tranquil environments, a water wall that empties at the end of the deep end of the pool, Wailana Pool Spa, a fully operational bar with full alcohol service at pool level and finally tropical, shading, palm trees.
Poolside Cabanas: At Aulani we have eight private cabanas for rent each day, accommodating up to 6 guests. Each cabana offers a 32-ich flat screen TV, a ceiling fan, refrigerator, comfortable living, dining and poolside furniture, fresh fruit bowls andcomplimentary water.
